Privacy policy

This policy explains how Tianwen Mingli handles information about you when you use charts, relationships, palmistry, date selection, divination inquiry, and account services. We keep purposes specific, collect sparingly, and provide understandable paths to view and delete your information.

Scope

This policy applies to the Tianwen Mingli website, the account system, and the product features directly connected to them. Content you access through third-party websites or services is subject to those third parties' own privacy rules.

When a feature requires additional processing of sensitive information or is subject to region-specific rules, we provide more specific notice before you submit. That notice and this policy together form the complete disclosure.

Information we handle

  • Account and identity information: email, display name, password hash, login sessions, account status, and subscription status. We do not store plaintext passwords.
  • Birth and location information: date, time, place, time zone, latitude and longitude, calendar selection, true solar time setting, and time accuracy, used to produce results that can be recalculated.
  • Feature inputs and results: the questions you submit, real-world constraints, selected parameters, calculation results, evidence fields, rule versions, and the history you choose to save.
  • Service and security information: necessary access logs, request status, quota usage, and anomaly signals, used to keep the service running, diagnose errors, and prevent abuse.
  • Payment status: the customer, transaction, and subscription status returned by the payment provider. Full card numbers are handled by the payment provider and are never accessed or stored by this site.

Note:If you do not want a result saved, do not choose to save it. Some features that do not require an account may still generate short-lived technical logs needed to keep the service secure.

Why we use this information

  • To carry out the chart calculation, analysis, history, review, deletion, and account features you request.
  • To provide subscription benefits, calculation quotas, payment status synchronization, and customer support.
  • To maintain security and stability, including origin verification, request rate limiting, fault diagnosis, and fraud and abuse protection.
  • To understand product quality after de-identification or aggregation. Without your explicit choice, we do not use sensitive information for advertising profiles, and we do not sell personal information.

AI and third-party providers

Some interpretations, questions and answers, or image observations send the content necessary to complete the current request to the configured AI providers. Calculated facts and AI wording are labeled in separate layers, and AI must not modify the underlying results produced by the rule engine.

  • Palm photos are sent to the vision provider only within the current request. This site does not store the original image, only structured results such as quality, visible features, confidence, and version.
  • Payment, hosting, backup, security, and logging providers may process necessary information on our behalf, and they must be bound by access restrictions, confidentiality, and security requirements.
  • We minimize the scope of data sent to providers where we can. Different deployment regions and providers may involve cross-region processing, and the operator must complete the corresponding disclosures or arrangements as required by law.

Retention, deletion, and backups

  • Account, historical result, and subscription information is kept only for a reasonable period necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, or handle disputes.
  • After you delete a chart or module result, the record is removed from the primary online database. Limited backup copies expire naturally according to the deployer's rotation cycle.
  • The small number of records that must be retained for financial, security, or legal obligations are kept separate from day-to-day product data and are disposed of once the retention purpose ends.

How we protect information

We use technical and organizational measures proportionate to the sensitivity of the information, including secure sessions, origin verification, access control, request rate limiting, transport protection, signed payment callbacks, and key isolation. No online service can promise absolute security, but we work continuously to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.

Your choices and rights

  • You can view and delete saved charts and module results, and manage your login sessions and subscription.
  • You can request account access, correction, export, withdrawal of consent, or full deletion through the customer support channels the operator publishes. We handle such requests under the applicable rules after verifying your identity.
  • Birth time can be marked as approximate or unknown. The system reduces precision or turns off conclusions that depend on that information rather than guessing on your behalf.
  • Do not upload another person's photos or birth information unless you have obtained explicit permission and have the right to use that information for the current purpose.

Minors, policy updates, and contact

This service is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed at minors. If you find information about a minor that was submitted without proper authorization, please contact us through the support channels the operator publishes.

When there is a material change to processing purposes, providers, or legal requirements, we update the version and effective date, and we provide additional notice where appropriate. Please review important updates before continuing to use the service.
