Why the two outputs feel so different
The scale gap is the easiest way to see why the tools feel unrelated. A zodiac animal groups everyone born in one year, which Eastern Fate puts at roughly 130 million people per birth year. Where the boundary gets messy
January and February are where calculators most often disagree. Some sites assign the zodiac animal by Lunar New Year, while traditional BaZi charts may use Start of Spring, around February 4, for the year boundary, so the Year Pillar can change depending on which rule the site follows. [6]
